Wow, my first finished artwork since the beginning of February. This is also my first artwork since having to fix my computer by reinstalling the OS and everything else. It’s also my first artwork using both Poser Pro 2014 and Victoria 6 via DSON for Poser. The DSON plug-in has gotten a lot better since the first time I tried it over a year ago and I’m really enjoying working with the new Genesis 2 series of figures which includes V6. When I decided to sit down and create an artwork, I didn’t know what to do at first. I looked over at the wall behind my desk and saw a poster of an old artwork of mine featuring a female pirate that I always thought I could have done better. So, I just started from scratch and created a new artwork with a similar theme.
I originally thought I had this artwork finished back in November but after looking at it again, I realized you couldn’t see any water behind her but instead just more sky. I had to go back and do the postwork all over again to correct this mistake that I can’t believe I didn’t notice until now. NOW it’s finished and I’m quite pleased with how it FINALLY turned out.
